What's in the name?

Our name, Illuminare, is actually Italian (and Portuguese) for "to create light", and "to illuminate".

Photography comes from the Greek word, photizo, and also implies illumination or bringing to light.

A photographer is one who captures light. Seeing the light, and the beauty of the creation enough to interpret our vision is part of the magic of living every day. We look forward to illuminating you and capturing your beautiful image.
